General Dentistry Procedures

General dentistry is a wide ranging field with procedures as diverse as routine checkups to surgery on the gums. It includes all of the procedures necessary to ensure you and your family's oral health.

With mounting evidence between oral hygiene and overall health, it is becoming increasingly obvious just how important it is to visit your dentist at least twice a year. Links between oral health and diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and even fetal health in pregnant women are currently being researched, and all evidence points to the same thing: oral health is imperative to total health.

General dental procedures include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleanings and checkups to prevent, and diagnose potential problems.
  • Dental fillings, to repair damage from decay or other sources.
  • Bonding/resurfacing to fill chips and cracks that can lead to decay.
  • Dental Crowns to incase decayed or damaged teeth preventing further problems.
  • Root canals to remove infection from the root of the tooth.
  • Dental bridges, dentures, and dental implants to replace missing teeth.
  • Periodontal (gum) disease treatment to restore your gums to their healthiest state.
  • Snoring treatment to increase restful sleep and prevent potentially serious consequences.
  • Pediatric dentistry to address the unique needs of infant’s and children’s teeth.

These procedures and more can be preformed within the comfort of our office, often within a single session.
